REAP-Canada Shows High School and CEGEP Students How to Apply Their Skills in International Development through the McGill Explorations Program
July 9, 2004

Each year, REAP-Canada sparks youth's interest in science and technology through its participation in the Explorations Summer Day Camp Program hosted by McGill University. A presentation is given to students ages 15-18 who discover what REAP-Canada is all about and how their devotion to the sciences and social development can make an international difference.

This year, students engaged in conversation about international development, roasted marshmallows on the Mayon Turbo Stove, and learned about the hardships of a rural Gambian lifestyle through a video presentation.
