REAP-Canada at the Guelph Organic Conference

From January 21-23, 2005, REAP-Canada hosted several exciting events at the Annual Guelph Organic Conference , Canada’s largest gathering of its kind. REAP-Canada made presentations at the "Farmer-Scientist Workshop On Mitigating Climate Change Through Agriculture" and held a tradeshow booth informing the public of REAP-Canada's recent innovations in ecological agriculture. Also, straight from the Gambia Mr. Badarra Jobe, Director of the Njawara's Agricultural Training Centre (one of REAP-Canada's partners) presented "Agro‑Ecological Village: Development in the Gambia" during a Sunday seminar. REAP-Canada's showing was well received, generating a lot of interest and ideas for this year's programming.
